The global data centre Ethernet switch market in the third quarter rose 5 percent sequentially to USD 2.2 billion, according to a new report from Infonetics Research, now part of IHS.
Though worldwide application delivery controller revenue is down 2 percent, and the ADC market growth was consistent on a year-over-year basis for the last six quarters. Virtual ADC appliances are up 20 percent.
